Working it out

Terms & Conditions

Little Badgers follows the school terms. Little Badgers will break for major holidays such as Christmas and Easter and will break for school half terms too. Depending on how the calendar falls, some terms will be different lengths. Please look at your e-mail carefully for information about dates and holidays within terms.

Each term in Wraxall Piece costs the equivalent of £8.00 per session. Badock's Wood is the equivalent of £7 per session.

Payments need to be made in advance of each new term.

Children (and their parents/carers!) benefit most from regular, repeated visits to Forest School. The longer children attend Forest School, the greater the magic you will see in their development. Therefore, sessions may only be purchased for a whole term. Little Badgers is not a 'drop-in' type group and sessions cannot be purchased one at a time. This is so that we can cater to the high demand of families wishing to attend and run a sustainable service.

The cost per session per family will work out at £8.00/£7.00 per session per family if you can make it to every session within a term but sessions cannot be paid for on a weekly basis. Refunds will only be offered in exceptional circumstances. Refunds cannot be offered if you cannot make a session due to illness or weather. We cannot offer refunds on the rare occasion where we have to cancel a session due to dangerous weather. If after the first session you decide Badgers is not for you we will refund your fee for the remainder of the term less £5 admin fee as long as this is within 24hours of the first session.

Upon booking, you commit to attending every week for a term. Fees must be paid before a term begins. Your place can only be secured once payment is received. This also applies to terms subsequent to your first term at Little Badgers.

Fees apply to each family. If you bring children from different families, additional fees apply for each family. If you are bringing 4 children from 2 different families, you will need to pay 2 fees etcetera. Childminders may bring up to 3 children as a 'family'. We are only a very small not-for-profit company so we really value your honesty. Additional fees will not apply if you are bringing children who only share one parent or for step-siblings. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you are unsure about fees. We look forward to hearing from you!

You are welcome to bring other adults along, like grandparents or friends who are visiting from afar. If your visiting friends/family bring children aged 1-4, we would ask you bring a session fee of £8.00. For children aged 5+, please consider making a donation of £3.

If you or your child show any signs of Covid-19 then please stay at home and self -isolate.
